JAM SESSIONS

Monthly Jam Sessions:

The Society sponsors a free public jam session EVERY 3rd WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH. It is open to all folk music lovers of any age who play an instrument or simply like to sing along with and even listen to the music. You will be joining Society members and guests for an enjoyable evening of folk music, bluegrass, country, oldies and contemporary folk and sing-a-long songs of all kinds. Jam books are available to all who come. The books contain lyrics and chord diagrams of over 700 songs of various genres. Jam musicians form a circle and each participant in turn selects a song of their choosing for all to play along. Our jam starts promptly at 6:30 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. Free refreshments are served. No amplified instruments, except for bass, are permitted. There is ample free parking at the Center.

Directions:

Lehigh County Senior Citizen Center 1633 Elm Street Allentown, Pa.

-- From Rt. 22, take 15th St. Exit south into Allentown. Turn right onto Fairview, approx. 3 blocks south of Hamilton. After crossing 16th Street turn left across next intersection into the parking lot at the Center where there's plenty of FREE PARKING. -- From I-78, take Hamilton Blvd. exit east to Allentown. In Allentown, turn right onto 17th Street, then left on Fairview, and then 1st right into the Senior Center's parking lot.
